Was het gisteren nog herfst op m'n blog... Vandaag lijkt het wel lente! En buiten is het precies andersom ;) Gisteren spotte ik het allereerste sneeuwklokje in de tuin! Dapper hè, zo'n teer wit bloempje dat sneeuw en kou trotseert om de tuin een beetje op te fleuren? Wel hoopgevend, maar ja.... Het is nog maar net winter! Yesterday it was Autumn on my blog... But today it looks like Spring! Outside it's the other way around ;). Yesterday I spotted the first snowdrop in the backyard! Brave isn't it, with this cold? Gives you hope for the upcoming Spring... But Winter just had started, so still a long time for Spring to come! Nog meer lente-achtigs. Gisteren heb ik de "Spring Hare" van Stacy Nash afgekregen voor Bep. Weer een borduurtje van de stapel weggewerkt. Deze keer heb ik er een "Sewing Pouch" van gemaakt (of gewoon een klein tasje). Het patroontje is van Stacy Nash. Ik had nog wat herfststofjes over van de logcabin en die kleurden er prachtig bij! Finished another piece of the pile. This time I made a "Sewing Pouch" of it. The design is from Stacy Nash. I had some Autumn fabrics left over from the Log cabin and they matched perfectly with it! (De webwinkel is vol dus ik kan deze er niet bij zetten... Mocht je interesse hebben, mail me dan!) Binnenkort een update... At the moment I'n working on a UFO: Christmas Village from Victoria Sampler. Update will follow soon... Zaterdag zat dit schattige vogeltje in m'n pakje van de Advent SWAP. Last Saturday there was this cute bird in my package for the Advent SWAP. Zondag had ik deel 1 van het patroon, waar ik eerder al deel 2 van had gekregen. Sunday there was part 1 of the chart, which I already had part 2 of. En vanmorgen had ik dit leuke gastendoekje. And this morning I got this little towel. Hugs, Simone

Natural Irish Linen Floss: DMC After all the quilting I decided to do a little cross stitch first! I've modelstitched this for my friend Bep . Ik heb - na bijna een half jaar - Nell'Aria van Renato Parolin maar eens uit de kast getrokken. Ik was vergeten hoe mooi die wordt en hoe lekker die borduurt. After almost a half year I picked Nell'Aria from Renato Parolin out of the WIP's drawer. I forgot how much I like the design and how easy it stitches. Hugs, Simone

Ik vind dit trouwens zo'n leuk borduurtje, dat ik gisteravond ook begonnen ben op een lapje van mezelf, om hem nog een keer te maken.
