ATELIER SOED IDEE

Zo leuk, deze Kerstornamentjes van Bonnie Sullivan! Een deel van de afbeelding is voorbedrukt op de stof, de rest appliceer je met behulp van flanel en vliesofix of borduur je erop. Zo krijg je 12 Kerstornamentjes van ong 7,5 x 10 cm. Je ontvangt een pakket met alle benodigde materialen voor alle 12 ornamentjes, inclusief achterkant stof en chenille voor de afwerking! Tijdens deze dag maken we een begin, de rest kun je thuis afmaken. Op Donderdag 16, Vrijdag 17 en Dinsdag 21 November ben je welkom vanaf 10.00 uur in het Atelier in Vaassen, waar je wordt ontvangen met koffie, thee en iets lekkers. Het Atelier zal dan ook helemaal in Kerstsfeer zijn! De workshop is van 10.30 uur tot ongeveer 15.30 uur. Tussendoor is er ook gelegenheid om te shoppen in mijn winkeltje. De prijs van deze workshop is € 60,-. Dit is inclusief het complete pakket aan materialen, koffie en thee met wat lekkers en tussen de middag een heerlijke lunch. Aanmelden kan via de webshop .

Hij komt er weer aan; het leukste borduur-tijdschrift van het jaar! Met meer dan 70 verschillende Kerst ornamentjes van diverse ontwerpsters. Hij wordt ergens in September verwacht, maar je kunt hem nu alvast bestellen . Dan ploft hij eind September bij je op de deurmat!

Ik heb nog wat "nieuwe" oude kantjes op de kop getikt... Je vindt ze in de webshop ! Ik had eindelijk inspiratie voor Kerst en heb 3 verschillende Kerstornamentjes ontworpen die op één patroon worden uitgegeven. Gisteravond ben ik begonnen met borduren en de eerste was wel heel snel klaar: Nog even een "blurry" foto, maar zodra ze helemaal klaar zijn krijg je duidelijker foto's te zien. (om de spanning erin te houden ;) )

Vandaag ben ik met m'n vriendinnetjes van de Bee bij Bep geweest. We hebben dit leuke kerst-schilderijtje gemaakt: Today I went with my friends of the Bee, to Bep. We've made this cute Christmas-stitchery: Wil had bezoek gehad van Sinterklaas, die ons allen verblijde met dit nostalgische naaldenboekje en een hartje van de Knutselpiet: Wil gave us this nostalgic Needlebook and a sweet little heart: Bij thuiskomst vond ik dit Tilda Gingerbread mannetje op m'n deurmat, van Elza . Wat een verrassing, dankjewel Elza! When I came home, I found this Gingerbread man on my doorstep, from Elza . Thank you Elza! Tot slot mocht ik vandaag het eerste pakje (van de 25) openmaken van de Advent Swap van Vickie (hè, hè eindelijk!). En daarin zat dit leuke panel van de "Twelve days of christmas"! Today I could open the first present of the Advent Swap from Vickie (finally!). It contains this wonderful panel of the Twelve days of Christmas! Na dit alles voel ik me zo rijk! Wat heb...

Afgelopen week had ik wat ornamentjes in elkaar genaaid, maar die moesten allemaal nog gevuld worden. Dus zaterdag ben ik maar eens aan het vullen geslagen (voor een deel buiten in het zonnetje!) en dit is het resultaat: Last week I've sewed some ornaments together but they still had to be stuffed. Op het Borduurhoekje hebben we momenteel een "Wensenkermis". Iedereen kan daarin wensen plaatsen en anderen kunnen dan aankruisen als ze een wens van iemand vervullen. Iris had een kerstornamentje gewenst, maar ik wist dat ze helemaal gek was op mijn kerstelfjes. Dus bij hoge uitzondering heb ik nog een elfje geborduurd en daar dit kerstornament van gemaakt :) On our Dutch Borduurhoekje-group we have a Wishing-carnival. Everybody can enter a wish and anybody else can fulfill that wish. Iris wished for a Christmas ornament, but I know that she's a secret admirer of my Christmas Elves. So by high exception I've stitched another Elf and finished it into a rather large Christmas ornament :) Hugs, Simone

Dit leuke engeltje heb ik tijdens de vakantie geborduurd en lag nog te wachten op afwerking. Het hartje in het stofje van Honey & Me paste er perfect bij en ik had ook nog zo'n lang punt-hartje als "roestig" bedeltje. Het is een flink ornament geworden, dus niet echt voor in de kerstboom. Maar aan de deur ofzo staat ie ook leuk. Design: Little Angel in the Clouds by Heart in Hand Fabric: 32 ct. I thought the Honey & Me fabric fits perfectly, and also the rusty heart-charm. The ornament became pretty big, so it doesn't fit in the Christmas tree. Ik deed dit jaar mee aan twee SAL-len met kerstornamentjes. Bedoeling was dat ik dan iedere maand een kerstornamentje zou maken... Helaas ben ik niet verder gekomen dan Maart. Vraag me niet waarom, maar toen had ik geen zin meer in kerstornamentjes. Vandaag heb ik het ornamentje van Stacy Nash afgewerkt. Dus dit is het ornamentje voor april, mei, juni, juli, augustus en september in één keer! ;) I joined two Christmas ornament SAL's this year. So I suppose to stitch an ornament each month... Somehow I got stucked in March. Don't know why, but the Christmas designs didn't appeal to me anymore in Spring. Today I finished the ornament of Stacy Nash, so here's the ornament for April, May, June, July, August and September all in one! ;) Is bij jullie de Gogo -gekte ook al toegeslagen? Hier in Vaassen wel! Tijmen is ze al driftig aan het sparen en er moest een zakje komen om ze in te stoppen. Dus mama is maar aan het frutselen geslagen om de mooiste Gogo-zak van de hele schoo...

Joepie! Vanavond mag ik eindelijk weer onder m'n eigen nieuwe douche! Ik heb 2 dagen lopen poetsen, vanwege al het stof door het hele huis, dus ik heb wel een uitgebreide douchebeurt verdient, dacht ik zo ;) Zie hier het eindresultaat: Yippee! Ik vind dit trouwens zo'n leuk borduurtje, dat ik gisteravond ook begonnen ben op een lapje van mezelf, om hem nog een keer te maken. First of all; let me see thank you! I had so much wonderful comments on my craft room! And yes... I'm over-organised... Yesterday I had the most wonderful time since ages! Marne (from the US)was visiting the Netherlands, so we had a meeting with some Crazy exchange members; Caroline , Jacqueline , Joke and Bianca came to my house, so that we could chat, laugh, eat and stitch (but we didn't have time for that). The good thing was that we had the most beautiful Spring weather you could imagine, so we spent the whole time in our back yard! Girls, I hope we can do this again in the near future... In December I sent a Christmas ornament and some goodies to Robyn in Australia, for the HOE exchange. Robyn was travelling the globe around that time and my ornament never came... I was just about to start a new ornament, when I got the message today from Robyn that the package arrived on her doorstep! It's amazing! It was still in one piece, with everything in it. Such a relief! This afternoon the mailwoman brought me a package from Italy. It was the Seasonal exchange from Claudia , right in time for Christmas! I forget to take a pic before opening everything up (I was to greedy), but it was all beautiful wrapped! Here's everything that was in there: The ornament Claudia made is very ingenious... It's also a Stitchers pocket! The strawberry is even removable, to use as a pincushion. I think it's very clever what Claudia put together and so perfectly finished! It's going to be hard, to come even close to this in our next (Spring) exchange. Thanks again, sweet Claudia!!!

I'm always get happy when the doorbell rings on a Tuesday morning, because most of the times it means the mailman is delivering (international) packages! This morning he even had two for me :) The first package contains another wish of the Borduurhoekje. I wished for a wooden sewing box I saw on a pic a while ago. Marlies was my angel and went to 3 different stores to find it for me! Thanks again Marlies! I'll treasure this darling box. There was also a big envelop from Germany. It appears to be the HOE Christmas Ornament exchange from Gaby . And OMG, she sent some wonderful things!!! I'm thrilled! Here's the complete exchange: Two wooden birdhouses (they are so cute), a By the Bay chart from my wishlist, snowmen fabric and the most wonderful stitched little house ornament I've ever seen!
