Hier dan eindelijk de foto's van het eindresultaat! Tijmen heeft al 2 nachten heerlijk geslapen in z'n nieuwe kamer :) Finally the pics of the endresult! DS already slept 2 nights like a beauty in his new room :) Op deze lege blauwe muur komt nog een grote poster van een haai! On this empty bleu wall we'll be hanging a large poster of a shark! Jippie! Het schilderwerk is klaar! Nu nog wat afwerkdingetjes, opruimen en schoonmaken en dan weer inrichten. Leuk, met allemaal nieuwe Ikea-spullen ;) Yippee! The painting is ready! Only some finishing and cleaning and than we can start "moving in" again. We bought some fun, new Ikea stuff ;) Heftige kleuren, hè??? Aren't those colors violently??? (is that the word you use in this case?) Tussendoor nog wat stitcheries geborduurd voor Bep uit de nieuwe boeken van Natalie Bird. In between I did some model stitching for Bep , from one of the new books of Natalie Bird. Hugs, Simone

Tijmen heeft weer een plafond! Nu kunnen we gaan schilderen en aan het eind van de week weer inrichten. DS has a ceiling again! Now we can start painting and at the end of the week re-furnish and decorate it. Hugs, Simone

Vandaag is DH begonnen met het slopen van het plafond van DS z'n kamer. Het gips is eraf, nu alleen nog 88.000 nietjes.... Today DH started with removing the ceiling of DS's room. Only 88.000 staples to go... Hij vondt ook nog wat "schatten" van de vorige bewoners tussen het plafond. He also found some "treasures" from the previous residents between the ceiling. Wij hebben vast hele geleerde muizen! Ze hebben zich tegoed gedaan aan dit HAVO examen Nederlands uit 1976 :) I think we have very smart mice. Joepie! Vanavond mag ik eindelijk weer onder m'n eigen nieuwe douche! Ik heb 2 dagen lopen poetsen, vanwege al het stof door het hele huis, dus ik heb wel een uitgebreide douchebeurt verdient, dacht ik zo ;) Zie hier het eindresultaat: Yippee! Tonight I can finally take a shower again! I've been cleaning for 2 days, because of all the dust after the construction, so I sure need a good shower ;) This is the endresult: En ik heb ook m'n eigen Stacy Nash kerstornamentje af. Als je badkamer er zo uit ziet: When your bathroom looks like this: En dit zie je buiten: And outside it looks like this: En je voelt je zo: And you're feeling like this: Dan sluit je jezelf op in je hobbyhok... You lock yourself in in your craftroom... En je maakt blok 8.... And you're making block 8... En blok 9... And block 9... En die naai je aan blok 1 t/m 7, en dan krijg je dit!!! And you sew them to block 1 - 7 , and you get this!!! En de douche heeft weer tegels! And the shower has tiles again! So it was a good day after all... ;) Hugs, Simone

Vanochtend stond ik hier nog te douchen.... Maar vanwege een kleine lekkage moesten de tegels eraf! Nu is de boel aan het drogen en hopelijk krijgen we dan na het weekend weer nieuwe tegels.... Gelukkig hebben we nog een bad! This morning I was still showering here... But due to a leakage the tiles had to go off. Now it's drying and hopefully they start to glue the new tiles on it after the weekend. Fortunatly we still have a bath! Have a nice weekend! Hugs, Simone
