Some updates

It's been a bit quiet from my side, but I'm still here. And although I didn't blog much (DH is at home and spends a lot of time at the computer), I did get some stitching done.
And there was an exchange arrived:

Birthday exchange for Marc, who loves penquins. The top penquin is made with paperpiecing method, the other one is a design of Brittercup Designs. Stitched on 28 ct. white Jobelan, with DMC. I finished it into a wall hanging.

Design: "Reindeer Sampler", JBW Designs
Fabric: 32 ct. Dublin Linen
Floss: DMC
Finish: Flatfold

I finished the stitching of the Stitchers' tray from Maryse. Which I now have to finish into a tray.

And I made this cute little Gingerbread wallhanging from Atelier Bep. It's hanging in my kitchen, and I think I'm going to leave it there for a while!

I also stitched part 8 of BC's Red Thread serie. You can see the progress here.

I'm still waiting for my Christmas exchange from the Crazy exchange group, to arrive in the UK... I'm getting worried about it! Keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive soon!

Edited: Nic wrote a comment that she did receive my Christmas Exchange! This is what I made for her:

Design: "Christmas Tree" by Ria Lanser
Fabric: 32 ct. Jobelan Waterlily
Floss: DMC
Finish: Pinkeep/ornament.

BTW.... This is my 99th post! So watch out for the next post...

I hope you will having a great party for "Old & New" (that's how we call it here in the Netherlands). See you next year!

Hugs, Simone

Simone, did you not get my email to say thank you?

Everything arrived safe and sound, I haven't blogged yet as I've been ill, and before that had loads of uni work to finish, but rest assured I loved opening your parcel on Christmas Day! Opening presents was about all I managed, I went back to bed straigt after!

Excellent - 99th post. I am wondering what you will do for #100. I'm a bit behind you, but was thinking of how to celebrate that one, myself.

Hope you had a prettige Kerstmis and will have a wonderful "Old and New".
Cheers!
