Today's mail brought me two exchanges! First there was this sweet heart from Verona . It's for the Hearts exchange on the Borduurhoekje group. Vandaag had ik twee exchanges bij de post! De eerste was dit lieve hartje van Verona . Het is voor de hartjes exchange die we bij het Borduurhoekje hadden. A little while later the mailman rang at the door with a package from Becky K. It was the HOE Woodland exchange. Becky stitched a JBW design and finished it on top of a photo album. It looks so pretty! There was also a CCN chart in the album. Even later ging de bel en bracht de postbode een pakje van Becky K. Het was de HOE Woodland exchange. Becky heeft een patroon van JBW designs geborduurd en dit afgewerkt op een foto-album. In December I sent a Christmas ornament and some goodies to Robyn in Australia, for the HOE exchange. Robyn was travelling the globe around that time and my ornament never came... I was just about to start a new ornament, when I got the message today from Robyn that the package arrived on her doorstep! It's amazing! It was still in one piece, with everything in it. Such a relief! I'm always get happy when the doorbell rings on a Tuesday morning, because most of the times it means the mailman is delivering (international) packages! This morning he even had two for me :) The first package contains another wish of the Borduurhoekje. I wished for a wooden sewing box I saw on a pic a while ago. Marlies was my angel and went to 3 different stores to find it for me! Thanks again Marlies! I'll treasure this darling box. There was also a big envelop from Germany. It appears to be the HOE Christmas Ornament exchange from Gaby . And OMG, she sent some wonderful things!!! I'm thrilled! I just was finished with my previous posting, when I came down and found a package on my doorstep! It was the HOE Floss Tag exchange from Marjean ! Marjean made this wonderful floss tag from a Blackbird Design freebee: She even personalized it! And here is the complete exchange: Don't you just love the socks??? I do! Finally some things to show you! On our Dutch Borduurhoekje group we had an Autumn / Halloween exchange. I chose for the Autumn theme, because I have nothing with Halloween (sorry). This is what I received from Willeke this morning: She stitched "Acorn Hill" from LHN and finished it into a wallhanging. I really like it! And look at the back, I just love that fabric! A few days ago was Daniela's Birthday, so she could finally open up my present for the Birthday exchange ! Daniela asked for an exchange from senders country, so I tried to make her a Dutch Birthday present. A Dutch handkerchief, a Dutch chart, Dutch licorice, a Dutch tuckpillow and some other goodies. I also received a message from Edgar , that he finally received my HOE LHN exchange! I stitched the "Wool Needlebook" for him, but changed it into a "Pyn Keepe" (I love the way Edgar use to write this!). Design: Wool Needlebook - Little House Needlework Fabric: 32 ct. Just a minute ago the mailwoman brought me this package from Olga . It's the HOE LHN-exchange! Olga made me this gorgeous pinkeep with scissorspocket on the back. She also attached a very nice Louisiana-scissorfob to the scissors. It has Olga's and mine initials on it! The design Olga stitched is "Watermelon" with Crescent Colours on 28 ct. evenweave. And this is the complete exchange. Don't you just love the cute bird buttons??? I do! And all the shades of red of DMC, some ribbon and pins. I'm speechless... Thank you so much Olga!!!

It was a good mail day again ;) Today my return exchange from Janaina for the Crazy exchange came. Janaina made me this beautiful Biscornu! She already knew I like it, because she tested me ;) She already showed pics of it in her blog! Of course the other goodies were a surprise, and I love them all. Thanks Janaina!!! And get well soon! I received another wonderful exchange! It's the HOE Freebee exchange from Cathie from France. She send me this tin: Look what was inside the tin: Cathie used a freebee from Aurelle and made this beautiful "carillon" of it. What a great idea!!! She also added some goodies; fabric, ribbon, buttons and beads and citronella candles. Cathie, thank you so much for this wonderful exchange! This is the floss toss for my newest project: It's "Sampler Ronde" de Anagram. Stitched on 40 ct. Summer Khaki, with DMC 221 and 3865. I have a lot of exchanges to stitch first, but I hope I can start this one real soon!

... but 3 exchanges received in today's mail!!! I think the mailplane from the US has landed, because the mailwoman brought me two packages this afternoon. In the first box was this gorgeous Winterexchange from Cathy B. for the Seasonal Exchange group: Cathy made me a very pretty cushion with a LHN-design (I think?) on it. I can see why she wanted to keep it for herself ;) And again she spoiled me big time with all these goodies!
