Two HD's!

I had TWO Happy Dance's this weekend!!! On Saturday evening I finished the Christmas Row from Bent Creek. I really liked this design and it was a quick stitch! And it's for ME again :D I think I'm going to finish it into a long pillow.

And the second Happy Dance was Sunday afternoon, when I've put the last stitches in the binding of my Sheep-quilt! DH spent the rest of the afternoon under the new blankie, taking a nap ;)

I've made the quilt with all different kinds of red fabric from my favourite store Atelier Bep. And for the back I used all the leftovers!

The quilt is now tumbling around in the washing machine, so keep your fingers crossed, that it comes out the way it went in...

I have several Christmas exchanges to work on, so I started the first yesterday evening. I hope I can show something here in between.

Beautiful pieces - that quilt is gorgeous!! I hope it washed okay!! Make sure you post how you finish the Bent Creek piece!!

Rood is niet mijn favoriete kleur, maar als ik jouw quilt zien, geloof dat ik er ook voor ga. De quilt is echt prachtig geworden, met al die warme tinten. groetjes Caroline

absolutely love these quilts and i am itching to stitch one. the reds are such a good match for one another they look great well done. and did it come out the same way it went in?

OK.... Ik kon zelf ook niet langer wachten... ;) De eerste borduurpatronen van Atelier Soed Idee zijn een feit! Ik heb een nieuw blog aangemaakt waar je de patronen als PDF-bestand kunt bestellen (ook via Paypal). Ik ben nog bezig om ze ook als "papieren" patroon te maken, maar dat vergt nog even wat tijd. Jardin Privé en een Give Away

Eigenlijk volg ik al heel lang de nieuwsbrief etcetera van de Franse Nathalie Cichon van Jardin Privé . Haar ontwerpen in Franse Country stijl zijn wel erg leuk! En eindelijk heb ik "de koe bij de horens gevat" en heb ik haar patronen ingekocht voor in mijn winkeltje! Voornaamste reden was wel haar nieuwste serie patronen "Histoire de Moutons" Een serie van 4 patronen met allemaal leuke schaapjes, die heel goed afzonderlijk van elkaar te borduren zijn. Of wat dacht je van één zo'n "vakje" uit patroon 1 of 3? Of alle 4 samen als één geheel?! Onlangs nog deelde ik op Facebook deze prachtige doos, die ik tegen was gekomen op Pinterest : Deze doos is gemaakt met een oudere serie van Nathalie "Sampler aux Bouquets".
