Mail and first update Nell'Aria

You might have noticed that my birthday is coming near.... And yesterday I allready received my first present! It's from Wendy Jo. I did a personal birthday exchange with her. I'm trying to be strong and wait 'till May 4 th before I'm opening it...

I'm in four different birthday exchanges, so there will be lots of presents this year! :)

Today another big envelope fell on my doorstep... And it was not for my birthday... It's from Marne!!!


When Marne came here for our Crazy exchange Quilting Bee, she noticed all the birdhouses in my backyard. So when she found this book, she thought of me! Thank you so much, Marne, I love the book!!!


And here is my first update of Renato Parolin's "Nell'Aria" after two nights of stitching. I'm using DMC on a 35 ct. tea dyed french linen. It's stitching pretty fast.

Great start on Nell'aria - great fabric!! I haven't had a chance to check out your latest posts - you have lots of great things in the works - with lots more to come! And I like the theme you have now - very cute :)

OK.... Ik kon zelf ook niet langer wachten... ;) De eerste borduurpatronen van Atelier Soed Idee zijn een feit! Ik heb een nieuw blog aangemaakt waar je de patronen als PDF-bestand kunt bestellen (ook via Paypal). Ik ben nog bezig om ze ook als "papieren" patroon te maken, maar dat vergt nog even wat tijd. Deze zijn straks via de webwinkel te bestellen, maar ook te zien en te koop bij Atelier Bep ! I couldn't wait any longer... ;) The first Cross Stitch designs of Atelier Soed Idee are a fact! I've opened a new blog , where you can order the charts as PDF-file (also by Paypal). I'm still working on "paper" charts, but that needs a little bit more time. Jardin Privé en een Give Away

Eigenlijk volg ik al heel lang de nieuwsbrief etcetera van de Franse Nathalie Cichon van Jardin Privé . Haar ontwerpen in Franse Country stijl zijn wel erg leuk! En eindelijk heb ik "de koe bij de horens gevat" en heb ik haar patronen ingekocht voor in mijn winkeltje! Voornaamste reden was wel haar nieuwste serie patronen "Histoire de Moutons" Een serie van 4 patronen met allemaal leuke schaapjes, die heel goed afzonderlijk van elkaar te borduren zijn. Of wat dacht je van één zo'n "vakje" uit patroon 1 of 3? Of alle 4 samen als één geheel?! Onlangs nog deelde ik op Facebook deze prachtige doos, die ik tegen was gekomen op Pinterest : Deze doos is gemaakt met een oudere serie van Nathalie "Sampler aux Bouquets".
