Wow! Carol told me 2 days ago that she posted my mattress pincushion and I found it already on my doorstep!!! Look at this speedy "Bloom", that Carol perfectly finished for me. I had Anagram's "Sampler Rond" kitted up for a while, and last week I've finally started it! This is the first pic of it: It's about a half page of the center. And this is what it should look like:

DS is on Scouting camp, so I have a lot of spare time... This afternoon I went to Stegeman in Rouveen. It's a shop where they have a lot of quiltfabric, but also traditional folkloric costume fabrics. I got completely outrageous, between all the beautiful fabrics!!! So this is what I came home with: You can easily tell what my favourite colors are... ;)

Andrea allready received the flatfold I've made for her in the Make a wish exchange ! Andrea wished for a flatfold and left the decision for the design entirely in my hands. I saw in Andrea's wishlist that she likes LHN and CCN and nature/garden theme. Last year my friend Jacqueline organized a Mysterie quilt project on our Dutch "Borduurhoekje" group. She designed three different blocks (I've only made two of them) and the layout of the quilt. Instead of the third block, I did a square of fabric, which I've quilted with a star. Yesterday evening I've put in the last stitch of the binding.

A few days ago was Daniela's Birthday, so she could finally open up my present for the Birthday exchange ! Daniela asked for an exchange from senders country, so I tried to make her a Dutch Birthday present. A Dutch handkerchief, a Dutch chart, Dutch licorice, a Dutch tuckpillow and some other goodies. I also received a message from Edgar , that he finally received my HOE LHN exchange! I stitched the "Wool Needlebook" for him, but changed it into a "Pyn Keepe" (I love the way Edgar use to write this!). Design: Wool Needlebook - Little House Needlework Fabric: 32 ct. On someone's blog I saw for the first time a design of "Tralala". I really like their designs! And of course I had to have them! So, I found this french ONS "Universbroderie" and ordered some charts (one was in backorder). I also saw the chicken-frame, which I couldn't resist... When we were at Bep's home last sunday, we did a little workshop and started a stitchery of a Sewing Store. Yesterday I finished it into this pinpillow:

Yesterday I spent the day with Jacqueline and Caroline at Bep's wonderful garden! Bep has a club and as a member you receive each quarterly year a surprise package, to make a quilt, or a doll, or such. Two times a year Bep invites the members over to her wonderful house for a small workshop and to pick up the next package. Here are some pictures of our great day. Enjoy them as much as we did yesterday! It was so much fun to meet Ingrid in real life! We read each others blogs for a while, and now we got to meet each other in person. Ingrid brought her gorgeous Dear Jane! Bep, thank you for the wonderful day! I saw this kit in our second hand shop, and I couldn't leave it there for only 50 cents. But this wallhanging is something I will never make... DS is already too old for it. I'm joining the Monthly Bits Club from Stitching Bits and Bobs , to get my collection of GAST threads complete. It goes rather fast because I get 11 skeins per month. Each time it's a surprise which colors I receive. This morning I received the parcel for June. And I think the colors are so "Summerly"! (is that a good english word?)

Cathy let me know that she received my ornament for the Xmas in July exchange. I'm so happy that she like what I've made for her!
